How it works

The Vega Pumps RUC Series is a Smart VSD (Variable Speed Drive) Booster Pump built for South African homes. Pump Link Mode — twin pump cascade

The RUC-750 support Pump Link Mode allowing two pumps to be connectedand operated as a coordinated pair.
The first pump starts automatically, the second activates only when demand exceeds the first pump’s capacity.
The pumps alternate startup to distribute wear evenly, and if one unit fails, the other continues operating independently — providing built-in redundancy for larger homes, estates, and townhouse complexes.

WiFi control via the Smart Life app

All RUC models connect to the free Smart Life app on Android and iOS.
Once paired, you can monitor your system pressure and water temperature in real time, start and stop the pump remotely
Adjust your target pressure, and view historical power consumptio - All from your phone. The pump operates fully independently if WiFi is unavailable, with all settings stored on the unit itself.

The RUC uses a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) rated at IE4/IE5.
The highest international efficiency class available.
